Talia is the Community Organizer: Nature Programs with Ecology Ottawa. She is currently completing her BSc in Biology at the University of Ottawa, where she has developed a strong interest in ecology. Her academic experiences have taken her abroad to study wildlife ecology in Tanzania, and tropical marine ecology in Belize. She is also the co-founder and co-president of the University of Ottawa’s Ecology, Evolution, and Behaviour Research Society, which she helped create to connect students with Ottawa’s scientific community and local volunteer initiatives. In her free time, you will find her at the pool, at the climbing gym, or spending time outdoors on long walks.
