Bisma’s passion for an equitable and just world has led her to get involved in the urban sustainability, climate, and green political movements in Ottawa, Canada, Europe and Pakistan. She is passionate about empowering change at the local level that is felt across borders. Bisma has a master’s degree in Environmental Science and has a diverse background in capacity building, fundraising, outreach and project coordination. She now acts as a Climate Change Campaign Organizer for Ecology Ottawa - working on the city's climate file and engaging citizens in local environmental projects. She feels very hopeful about the challenges we face today when she's working collectively to find solutions and take action.
