Khulud Baig is the Community Engagement Coordinator with City for All Women Initiative (CAWI) and the lead for the Housing portfolio at CAWI. Khulud has significant experience in community-based research, with a focus on gender-based analysis of housing and homelessness policy. At CAWI Khulud chairs the Civic Engagement Table and the Women Reducing Poverty Together (Maamawe) table, both focusing on empowering marginalized voices in the City's decision-making processes. Khulud was previously leading the housing portfolio at the Native Women's Association of Canada and has worked in partnership with organizations such as Canadian Observatory on Homelessness, Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness and Temiskaming Native Women's Support Group. Khulud is passionate about moving the dial on inclusion of gendered and marginalized voices in housing and homelessness policy at all levels of the government.
