Sana’s undying interest in the environmental field stems from her innate love of the natural world and the endless learning possibilities it offers. She specializes in being a generalist, with experiences in renewable energy, Indigenous consultation, environmental assessment, waste and conservation. Sana is currently heading the municipal elections campaign for the organization, and is the staff's JEDI (justice, equity, diversity & inclusion) lead. Previously, she managed the Ottawa Climate Equity initiative, helping bring together climate change and social inclusion leaders to build collaborative capacity for more inclusive and effective environmental action in Ottawa.
