Ecology Ottawa will be offering free tree seedlings at the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library plant exchange on Saturday June 13th between 1pm-3pm at Springhurst Park, located at the corner of Brunswick Street and Springhurst Avenue.
Our tree giveaways are a program that helps the community address a diversity of important environmental issues, including mitigating climate change, rebuilding our tree canopy, providing habitat for wildlife, creating shade for residents, and improving air, soil, and water quality in the city. The seedlings distributed through this program are for individuals to plant on private property.
