Ecology Ottawa will be hosting a Tree Giveaway at the Repair Fair hosted by Eco-Equitable and the City of Ottawa.
Replenishing the urban tree canopy in the Ottawa region is vital! Ecology Ottawa’s Tree Giveaway Campaign helps address a diversity of important environmental and social issues, including mitigating climate change, rebuilding our tree canopy, providing habitat for wildlife, creating shade for residents, and improving air, soil, and water quality in the city. Got space? Pick up a native tree at the event for FREE.

The Repair Fair
Bring in any clothing items that need to be repaired so you can extend the life of your garments while saving money and landfill space. There will also be sewing machine repairs, scissor sharpening and the chance to shop Eco-Equitable’s monthly fabric sale.
The Event includes:
- A mending area
- Sewing machine repair
- A blade sharpener (TBD)
- A fabric sale
- Items created by Eco-Equitable alumni
- Live music and a free coffee station (for those who bring their own mugs)
