Ecology Ottawa will be offering free tree seedlings at the Fletcher Wildlife Garden Pollinator Appreciation Day on Saturday June 20th between 10am and 2pm at the Fletcher Wildlife Garden, Prince of Wales Dr, just south of the Arboretum.
Our tree giveaways are a program that helps the community address a diversity of important environmental issues, including mitigating climate change, rebuilding our tree canopy, providing habitat for wildlife, creating shade for residents, and improving air, soil, and water quality in the city. The seedlings distributed through this program are for individuals to plant on private property.
