Replenishing the urban tree canopy in the Ottawa region is vital! Ecology Ottawa’s Tree Giveaway Campaign helps address a diversity of important environmental and social issues, including mitigating climate change, rebuilding our tree canopy, providing habitat for wildlife, creating shade for residents, and improving air, soil, and water quality in the city. FREE admission. Come to the NHS plant sale for amazing deals on hearty plants donated by our society members and friends! Plants on the sale table will be grouped by sun, shade, edibles and pollinators and typically sell from $1 to $10. Larger, rarer plants or those in bloom may be priced individually.
