Volunteer to help with pedestrian audits

If you are interested in volunteering to support our complete streets campaign, please consider joining in on a winter audit. The first three audits are designed to identify difficulties seniors might have in walking in the winter along particular routes. But all ages are welcome to participate.

If you are interested in holding an audit in your neighbourhood let us know (email [email protected]) and watch out for "how to..." trainings across the City.

Below are links to four audits planned for this February 2015. Each link has a place for you to RSVP for that audit. It is helpful for us to know how many participants to expect.

Ottawa Council's Finance and Corporate Services Committee considered the Directions for the City's 2025 budget this morning. Ecology Ottawa was there, calling out the Directions' failure to respond to the crises—climate, biodiversity, housing affordability, addictions—facing Ottawans, as well as their failure to incorporate any of the City's Strategic Priorities.
