Green Energy Doors Open, is a province-wide showcase of individual, community, and commercial sustainable energy projects. It is organized and spearheaded by the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association. The initiative aims to showcase advancements in the sector, demonstrating that Ontario is already on the path to building a 100% clean, sustainable energy system.
Visit the Energy Showcase/Trade Fair which will showcase the amazing projects and sustainable energy businesses in our region. The Energy Showcase will run from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Cereal Barn, Agriculture Museum Experimental Farm. BONUS: Your FREE admission to the Energy Showcase also gives you FREE entry to the Agriculture Museum for the day.

Members of ECCC invited to webinar on incineration
On April 8, we invited members of City Council’s Environment and Climate Change Committee (ECCC) to attend a webinar on incineration. This webinar is timely: Council is considering incineration as an option for dealing with Ottawa’s waste, since staff has warned Council that the Trail Road Landfill—which currently receives the majority of Ottawans’ garbage—will fill up soon.
