Ecology Ottawa Leadership Training

Ecology Ottawa will be hosting a Leadership training in April and May!

Being aware of local environment issues, civics and the practice of engagement organizing is the best way to challenge environmental issues in the City of Ottawa. Join us in the University of Ottawa for a two-sessions training, where you will have the opportunity to learn more about community organizing. This training is the perfect chance to acquire new skills and to add a valuable experience on your resume!

The first session will take place on April 28 and April 29. This session will be delivered in collaboration with the Institute for Change Leaders. Olivia Chow and her team will join us to guide participant through community organizing tools, techniques and best practices.

The second session will take place on May 12. Ecology Ottawa staff as well as three accomplished speakers will be talking about local environment issues, and will bring up the several ways of dealing with City Hall.

This event is free, and lunch is provided. We require a $30 deposit to hold your space, but we will give you back the $30 by the end of the training.
