Andrew Fanning
Doughnut Economics Action Lab

Andrew leads DEAL's work on quantification, data analysis and iteratively improving our methodologies, especially for downscaling the Doughnut to places.

He is a Visiting Research Fellow in the Sustainability Research Institute at the University of Leeds and holds an International Doctorate (cum laude) from the University of Cadiz (Spain).
Andrew's research in ecological economics has been published in leading journals, such as Nature Sustainability and Global Environmental Change, and he presents ideas and results in different settings.
He led the development of a National Doughnuts Data Explorer where people can explore the results of a major study that quantifies the sustainability of national resource use associated with meeting basic needs in more than 150 countries (URL: https://goodlife.leeds.ac.uk)
