We need to implement air quality monitoring in every ward of the city. We need to build climate mitigation infrastructure using Sponge City technologies - urban wetlands and permeable pavement. We need a coordinated civil defense strategy - with a generator library, and designated disaster hubs in every ward; that include essential supplies. We cannot rely solely on a patchwork of nonprofits to help out in a crisis.”
