6. How would you reduce the amount of Ottawa's waste going to landfill, and what would you do to promote a circular economy?

“I will continue to work within my community on initiatives such as Repair Cafes and Drop and Swaps. We desperately need programs for textile recycling, both for clothing and items such as mattresses that occupy a tremendous amount of air space at the landfill. We must push for spaces in city buildings for re-use activities and drop offs.”
