“I would support the creation of bus-only lanes in the downtown core and on major thoroughfares to make public transit faster and more reliable. I’ve supported this approach in my neighborhood, and it works well. For people to choose sustainable modes of transportation, we need to offer them practical and safe options.
This also means accessible and well-maintained sidewalks, safe crossings, and a continuous bike network, with adequate snow removal. I would call for clear timelines, dedicated budgets, and public oversight of projects to ensure our commitments translate into concrete improvements in daily travel.”
