“I would prioritize concrete actions to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels: reliable public transit, dedicated bus lanes, and more energy-efficient municipal buildings.
I’ve also worked with EnviroCentre on school streets to promote safe walking and biking around schools. We need to make walking enjoyable and accessible, and encourage people who can to incorporate it into their daily lives—even for just a short part of their commute. These initiatives help people develop new habits while improving safety and quality of life in our neighborhoods.”
