In the run-up to the provincial government's Ottawa consultation on the Long-Term Energy Plan on November 23, Ecology Ottawa signed onto a joint letter with leading environmental organizations across Canada regarding the transition to 100% renewable energy. The text of this letter is below.

Join residents of Ottawa-Vanier to hear from candidates running in the November 10 provincial by-election. Ask the questions that are most important to you. The forum will feature:

Come as you are or - better yet - wear your best costume! Join us for our tree planting / ribbon cutting event at 10am, followed by runs and walks along beautiful 2km and 3km loops on the campground.
The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. You can buy extra tickets for others in your group. Proof of payment is required to participate in the event.

These are the findings of a new report by the independent Montreal-based technical firm Savaria Experts-Conseils Inc.
